Times were really tough for me when I was in college. Dad and mom thought that a dorm, meal plan and part-time job would meet my needs just fine. They kept saying I wasn’t looking hard enough for work. They couldn’t understand that it was impossible for me to find something around my class schedule. Even the fast food jobs near campus wanted me to be available almost 24/7.
My car payments came due every month. Financial aid helped me but that didn’t last long. When I saw the ad about becoming a phone sex worker I applied and was shocked to be hired. I was worried about my friends finding out but they didn’t. My parents didn’t find out what I did either which was a huge relief. This may not be the most acceptable thing to do but it paid my bills when I really needed a job.
